Open-source recipe manager and meal planner you host yourself, with recipe import by link and shopping lists.
Mealie is an open-source recipe manager and meal planner that you run on your own server or home computer, usually with Docker. Once it's running, you and your household use it from a web browser.
Paste a link and it pulls the recipe off the page, ingredients and steps included. You can plan meals on a calendar, build shopping lists and share the whole collection with the people you live with.
Running it yourself means your recipes stay on your own machine and there's no subscription, but you handle setup, updates and backups. If that sounds like a chore, a hosted recipe keeper is the easier choice. It is maintained by volunteers, and its documentation covers installation on common home servers and network storage devices.
